This is a 2009 Mitsubishi Triton. It has been an absolutely tremendous vehicle. I had this car for about 6 months and because of engine block manufacturing fault the head gasket failed. The car was 12 years old, 136000K’s and Mitsubishi replaced the engine with a new long engine, no log book, no service history.
It was bone stock when I bought it. Since then I’ve put a 2¾ Beaudesert exhaust on it. It’s been tuned by JC Diesel Tune. Installed…..ARB Bulbar, Safari Snorkel, Runva Winch, Stedi Spots, 2 GME Radios, 2 antennas, Dobinsons 3way adjustable shocks front and rear, ARB Canopy, LegendEX Rock Sliders, ARB Twin Locked, Marks 40% reduction gears, 16″Black Rok Rims, BFG KM3 Muddies, ARB Internal Roofrack Canopy Support, ARB Onboard Compressor, ARB 80Series Draws, Custom Wings, Bushwacker 270° Awning, Drifta Rooftop Tent, Rear Bar, Mars Performance LED Headlights, Enerdrive 40A Battery Charger, 2 x 100AH Lithium Batteries in parallel. Enerdrive 1000watt Inverter, Sony XAV-AX5000 Stereo Head Unit, 75ltr Dunn+Watson water tank and Pump, Brown Davis 138ltr Long Range Fuel Tank.
The car has proved to be ultra reliable having done several VIC High Country trips and a heap of trips around NSW.
It’s ultimate test will take pace in the coming weeks with a solo Cape York trip where I expect to put about 10,000K’s on it.
